KDF 85 /Granular Activated Carbon Cartridge

The KDF 85 /Granular Activated Carbon Cartridges have superior taste and odor removal capabilities. The dark granular KDF in this cartridge specializes in the removal of iron and hydrogen sulfide. The black granular coconut shell activated carbon reduces organic and chlorine. This is an excellent taste and odor filter that removes a wide range of contaminants.

KDF media controls scale, bacteria and algae, even in hot water. KDF media causes cellular damage to microbiological organisms which can kill or inhibit any growth.

KDF Fluid Treatment Provides Patented Water Treatment Media for Water and Industrial Treatment

What are KDF Process Media and how do they work in the treatment of water?

Founded in 1984, KDF Fluid Treatment, Inc. is a technological leader   in the fluid treatment industry. KDF® process media are high-purity copper-zinc formulations used in pretreatment, primary treatment, and wastewater applications. KDF media supplement or replace existing technologies to dramatically extend system life, reduce heavy metals,   microorganisms, scale, lower total cost, and decrease maintenance.
